Light Jet vs Midsize Jet
The most common charter decision is also the first one: light or midsize? The gap is real, a stand-up cabin, more range, and a bigger baggage hold on one side; a materially lower hourly rate on the other.

Cabin and comfort
Light-jet cabins are typically about 4'9"–4'11" tall, comfortable seated, but you'll stoop to move around. Midsize cabins add height (often near or at stand-up), an enclosed lavatory, and usually a small galley for catering.
Range and runways
Light jets reach about 1,500 nm and can use short mountain runways midsize jets sometimes can't. Midsize jets reach roughly 2,500 nm, most of the country nonstop, but a full transcontinental leg still often needs a fuel stop.

Is a midsize jet worth the extra cost over a light jet?
